Village d'Aï

Breathtaking view of the Vaud Alps
Every step in Leysin offers a privileged view of the Vaud Alps. Majestic peaks, rolling green valleys, and clear blue skies come together in a landscape that takes your breath away.
As summer arrives, the resort transforms into a natural retreat, perfect for both adventure and relaxation: panoramic hikes, mountain biking, trail running, paragliding, or simply unwinding while gazing at the horizon.
The air feels lighter, the light shines brighter, and the mountains are closer than ever. Whether you’re an explorer at heart or a quiet soul, let yourself be swept away by a summer in Leysin — between sky and summits.

Buvette d'Aï
Tucked away in the hamlet of Aï, this open-air eatery delights hikers, nature lovers, and those in search of authentic mountain flavours. With tables scattered between the charming alpine chalets, it offers a peaceful, rustic setting and a stunning view of the Berneuse and the dramatic Tour d’Aï rising above the valley.
On the menu: focaccia, pizza, flammekueche, and local specialties like raclette, cheese platters, and air-dried meats. A delicious break in the heart of nature.

Lac d’Aï
Halfway between the revolving restaurant and the Mayen refuge, the shores of Lake Aï offer a perfect spot for a picnic in nature. Large rocks, fallen from the Tour d’Aï, serve as natural benches and tables where you can settle in and relax under the sun.
Among the rocks and the chalets of the old hamlet of Aï, marmots play hide-and-seek, accompanied by the gentle ringing of cowbells. If you stay quiet and patient, you might catch a glimpse of them.
In winter, Lake Aï is usually covered in snow and unnoticed by skiers. However, during cold spells with little snow, it transforms into a natural ice rink nestled in the surrounding mountains, offering a surprising alternative.
